MAI CHAU- HOA BINH

For the interesting indigenous culture, a visit to the hill tribes is mandatory. Hoa Binh – Mai Chau and surrounding area is the cradle of the vibrant ethnic minority culture that awaits our exploration.

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau Lodge

*In the Morning: Leave Hanoi to Mai Chau at 8:00 Am. On the way to Mai Chau, we make a stop in Thung Khe Pass for sightseeing and taking photos. Have lunch in Lac village.

*In the Afternoon: Walking around the Lac village a bout 5kms. You will have a chance to learn about the Thai people’s daily life and the stilt house architecture looming after the green forest.
After dinner, you sure will enjoy the Thai`s folk performances and Can wine (Special Rod wine of Thai ethnic minority). Stay over night in the house on stilt of Thai people in Lac village.

Day 2:  Mai Chau – Hanoi
*In the Morning: Go to visit another village of Thai people (Van village) then come back to the Lac village for lunch.

*In the Afternoon: Say goodbye to Mai Chau to go back Hanoi.  We will stop in Hoa Binh town for visiting the biggest Hydro Electric Power Plant in South East Asia. On the way you will visit Van Phuc silk village. Then keep on driving back to Hanoi around 4 Pm.
